Sean, William, and I drove up to Federal Way to spend a couple hours volunteering at Deseret Industries today. We worked in the warehouse sorting through boxes sent from Salt Lake. They were huge boxes, and we took everything out one by one and decided if it was worth keeping. If it was, we cleaned it off and put it in a bin to eventually be put out on the floor. We actually rather enjoyed ourselves (even though the volunteer apron we had to wear was not a favored item) and the time passed quickly. It was also really interesting to see how DI operated. We were quite impressed with how the place is organized and how smoothly it runs. Of course we had to top of our experience with a honey bacon club from Quiznos! Forever the best!
Oh, and homemade chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cookies for after dinner snack! Also, forever the best!
